As is often the case with my mother, Pepper, she was up for some retail fun one afternoon. We were on the search for a more colorful and decorative wheelchair cover to combat the endless charcoal gray and black vinyl options available. Surely Mom couldn’t be the only person with a disability looking for a way to liven a dreary-looking appliance? 

The concept for “grace...redefine yourself” was born!

Besides a pesky case of Multiple Sclerosis that requires her to use a scooter and wheelchair, the disability has changed precisely nothing about Mom’s inherent personality. She still spends time each morning matching earrings....to sweaters....to shoes....to scarves....A  beautiful and charming accessory for her wheelchair and scooter was a natural extension to her wardrobe.   It is just one more way her individuality and vibrant energy is displayed for all to see.

We certainly envisioned the grace covers customer to be someone who spends his or her time in a wheelchair or scooter. However, we also feel also that our product is a great gifting opportunity:

• A granddaughter looking for a great gift for her grandmother;
• A gift to cheer up a short-term rental wheelchair or scooter;
• A last-minute holiday –themed cover for a favorite aunt; or
• A monogram for an elegant gentleman in your life
